Steve Bieszczat, Chief Marketing OfficerToday, the manufacturing landscape is keenly focused on quality and high service levels. From the manual manufacturing processes of yesterday, the industry today has made a shift towards automation technology to increase quality and better manage shop floor activities. To address the challenges like lack of raw material on hand, machine break down, complex production schedules among others and drive productivity, manufacturers are looking for an integrated and real-time solution to manage shop floor functions related to technology, services and human resources.
Developed especially for manufacturing processes, IQMS’s EnterpriseIQ ERP software helps manufacturers—batch process, repetitive, and discrete—to monitor, track, trace and communicate business and manufacturing activities and data throughout the supply chain in real-time. The unique combination of ERP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functionality in a single system gives manufacturers a comprehensive end-to-end suite for running the business by increasing visibility and transparency into every aspect of their manufacturing operation. “Our product also automates the front office functions including accounting, sales order, customer relationship management, human resources, manages inventory levels, and replenishes resources all the way down to the shop floor,” remarks Steve Bieszczat, Chief Marketing Officer, IQMS.
IQMS industry-specific ERP solutions prove to be valuable in highly regulated industries governed by strict compliance and traceability requirements. For instance, the aerospace and defense manufacturing on daily basis deal with complex global supply chains, aggressive delivery cycles, strict industry compliance, and a highly cyclical, lengthy sales process and other challenges. IQMS’s manufacturing ERP software addresses the cost challenges and satisfies regulatory requirements of the industry. It ensures quality management standards, product monitoring and measurement, purchasing control over supply chain and visibility across the life of all products, along with managing certification data for export shipments, efficient handling of manufacturing processes and materials, and provisioning of an integrated document control system for the aerospace and defense industry.

In case of the automotive industry, IQMS ERP supports quality standards, automated EDI processing, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and detailed labeling capabilities, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Bieszczat cast light on how IQMS helps their clients. “The client in this case is maker of interior parts for Honda, and in many instances, the auto-manufacturer sends them order to synchronize different interior parts of a vehicle in a particular order during the course of the production day,” says Bieszczat. To help the client live up to Honda’s expectation, IQMS automated the process by connecting their ERP system to Honda’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system, allowing them to receive the order electronically and ship it in the correct sequence. As a result of IQMS’s assistance, the client was able to become the vendor of choice for Honda. “Focus on the real-time factory functionality and the ability to watch over the entire factory from one software solution is what differentiates us from the competition.”
For the road ahead, IQMS plans to take its unique MES and ERP combined product to even larger customers in North America, Europe, and Asia. “We are going to redefine manufacturing ERP and MES.
Also, continue to take advantage of the IoT so that we can capture more data from the shop floor, manage through the algorithms, do more work in a more predictive fashion.”
